We are looking for volunteers to help with VCP of Sioux Falls 3rd Annual Poker Run on Saturday, September 6th! Volunteers will help with check-in, selling t-shirts & barbecue sauce, stamping bikers' cards at each stop, and helping with the raffle at the last location. Check-in will be at the Veterans Community Project Village, and the last stop will be at Red Rock Bar. Join the Sanford International and Support VCP! This year, we're partnering with the Sanford International to help recruit volunteers for the tournament. In return, Sanford International will make a monetary donation to VCP. Be a part of this exciting event and make a difference! When: September 12th 13th and 14th. Shifts will be 5 hours long, and will fall within the time range listed below. Exact times will be announced closer to the event date. Role: Volunteers will be on-course marshals. Responsibilities will be managing crowd control and minimizing distractions during play, assisting in the pace of play, locating stray golf balls, and prioritizing spectator safety. Most Marshals work inside the ropes alongside the players, making this a truly unique and exciting volunteer opportunity! Are you comfortable speaking to large groups of people? Are you looking for meaningful ways to commit your time? Veterans Community Project invites you to join our armory of ambassadors! We are looking for volunteers who are willing to represent VCP at community events and lead a team of volunteers. If you believe in our mission, love interacting with people and enjoy presenting information to groups of people, then this position is for you! This training will give you the beginning tools you need to be a VCP Ambassador for volunteer assignments.
